Introduction

The Department of Saptadhara comes under the roof of Centre of Training which basically works on seven different branches such as : GyanDhara (knowledge band), NatyaDhara SamudayikSevaDhara (Community Service), Rang Kala KaushalyaDhara, Geet - Sangeet - NrutyaDhara, SarjnatmakAbhivyaktiDhara (Creative Expression), Exercise - Yoga and Sports Dhara.The Department will function in accordance to the UNESCO Report, “Learning the Treasure Within” are Learning to Know, Learning to be, learning to learn and Learning to live together inculcating the Saptdhara.

Vision

The Department aims at unfoldment of inherent potential of every child through creative and artistic experience which ultimately leads to develop various aesthetical aspect of different art forms of Saptadhara.

Objectives

To orient students about Art, life skills and knowledge.
To organise the activities to foster inherent abilities for holistic development of children.
To train the students about various activities carried out under NSS and Scout and Guide.
To initiate innovations in practicing Saptdhara activities pertaining to changing era.

Functions

The department is going to organize a variety of programs pertaining to seven disciplines from an exploratory approach to understand the role of knowledge, creative expression, music and dance, community service, drawing and painting, dramatics, yoga &sports for holistic development of children.
To conduct the talent hunt activities to identify the potentials of the children and assist, advice, encourage and facilitate them to realize the self.
To conduct research studies on various parameters of Saptdhara activities.
To create Audio-visuals to strengthen and foster the Saptdhara Activities.
To initiate skill base programmes, workshops and training programmes
Organizing various programs under NSS and Scout &Guide.
To organize training programs for Arts, Sports and Yoga Teachers across the state.
To initiate Collaborations with various art institutions and universities.
To organize training programs on different life skills described by UNESCO.
